Welcome to our latest consultation on National Occupational Standards.
Skills for Logistics is the UK Sector Skills Council (SSC) for the Freight Logistics sector. We work with employers to develop National Occupational Standards (NOS), sector specific qualifications based on the NOS and Apprenticeship Frameworks using the qualifications.
We are currently reviewing the Traffic Office NOS and are now inviting all those with an interest in shaping the Standards to review and comment on this work.
National Occupational Standards
Each National Occupational Standard (NOS) sets out a specific part of a work role. They state what the standard is about and who the standard is for. They then set out what a person needs to do and what they need to know and understand to complete that part of the work role.
