    Skills for Logistics, Milton Keynes, 12 April. Skills for Logistics (SfL), China Federation for Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), and British Council China today signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will see the three parties co-operating on areas such as logistics talent cultivation, standardisation and vocational education.

  • 12/04/2013Petroleum Driver PassportPetroleum Driver Passport.- recruitment of External Verifiers. The PD Passport scheme has been designed to set an industry training standard against which drivers delivering refined petroleum products in road tankers will need to demonstrate competence. As part of the build-up to the launch of the PDP in January 2014, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) who have been appointed as Scheme Managers, are now recruiting sector experts to act as External Verifiers for the scheme.  Full Details at http://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/65379.html

  • 04/04/2013The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing visits the UK

    A delegation from the China Federation for Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), headed by the Vice Chairman CFLP Mr Ren Haoxiang, will visit the UK 8 – 12 April 2013.

    In partnership with key logistics employers – Unipart Logistics, DHL, TNT Express and Ceva Logistics and six educational institutions including, Skills for Logistics have arranged a week of workshops and site visit during which a formal Memorandum of Understanding between the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Skills for Logistics and the British Council will be agreed and signed. This tripartite agreement will ensure that maximum impact is gained from an exciting collaboration between the two country’s logistics skills systems.
