Local Employer Networks

Strong employer networks are widely regarded as one of the most effective ways of supporting employers on employment and skills issues.

Skills for Logistics believes strongly in employer networks and has so far established seven in logistics ‘hotspots’ across the UK.  In each network we work with local employers, government bodies, Local Enterprise Partnerships, local authorities, training providers and professional bodies to transform ours from a sector with a disconnect between employers and their locality to one that actively reaches out and engages with new target groups. Our networks are helping to strengthen the image of the sector and address the skills and employment challenges our employers are facing.

Local Delivery

Managed by a Skills for Logistics Engagement Specialist, each Local Employer Network brings employers and partners together to lead the design and delivery of solutions to address the challenges they are facing.  Skills for Logistics will:
