Mail and Package Distribution Intermediate Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship is for people who deal with the collection, processing and delivery of mail, including letters, parcels and packages.

Mail and package distribution accounts for roughly 9% of the total workforce within the Logistics industry. While Royal Mail is the largest employer (with more than 200,000 employees) there are many other specialist mail and package distribution providers as well.

Qualifications available in this framework are:

Level 2 Certificate in Mail Operations
Level 2 Certificate in Package Distribution Operations

Military Traineeships

Logistics Challenge Day

Skills for Logistics, SWAN and Local Logistics Employers supported a ‘Made in China’ Event at Moulton School in Northampton. Over 200 students took part in the challenge, which is a one-day practical activity designed to support enterprise education and learning across the UK. During the challenge, students form their own logistics companies and compete to win a new business contract from a worldwide retailer.
