TQS - Provider information

How to apply

Step 1 - For organisations interested in applying for the Training Quality Standard the first step is to visit the website at www.trainingqualitystandard.co.uk. This will enable you to learn more about the Training Quality Standard and provide you with the knowledge to decide if your organisation is ready to apply.

Step 2 - Once you are aware of the process of applying and your organisation is ready you should complete a registration form. This starts the application process and provides you with a place at an Applicant Training Course.

Step 3 - After attendance at the Applicant Training Course you will be ready to complete an application. The application form is a written narrative and evidence statement of your organisation's strategy, approaches and results. Developing a strong application will normally take anythign between 3 and 10 weeks, and should have the leadership and involvement of senior management within the organisation, as well as contributions from staff in all employer-related parts of your organisation.

How we can help

Skills for Logistics was heavily involved in the development of the Part B Standard to ensure it delivered a robust and rigorous framework to make sure only the best providers receive certification. As such, our regional managers are able to provide assistance and advice in readiness for your application submission. Furthermore, the Part B guidance notes are available in the further information panel on the right hand side of this page. If you would like to speak to your regional manager, in the first instance, please contact Naimah Haq on naimah.haq@skillsforlogistics.org.

Further Information
