As Sector Skills Council for the freight logistics industries, Skills for Logistics has been tasked by Government to establish what the skills needs of the industry are through the development of a Sector Skills Agreement with the industry. This agreement, known as the Logistics Skills Agreement (LSA), identifies what employers feel are the most significant skills issues within the industry. The agreement is an action plan between Skills for Logistics, industry employers and Government. It aims to deliver the right skills at the right time for the right people.
