Skills for Logistics, the Sector Skills Council for the freight logistics industries, in partnership with Train to Gain recently hosted a successful London 2012 Opportunities briefing for logistics employers in London. The event, held at the Novotel London West, focused on the supply chain business opportunities for the logistics sector around the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
A number of logistics employers attended the event where they were provided with advice and guidance on bidding for London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games supply chain contracts, and discovered how their peers have seen direct benefits to business through training and skills development.
