National Training Awards

The National Training Awards 2008 are now open for nominations. These awards are designed to celebrate organisations and individuals that demonstrate outstanding business and personal success through investment in training. By recognising best practice, the awards aim to raise awareness and inspire others to invest in learning and development as a route to becoming world class.

 

The awards are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills.

 

The Categories

  • Employer Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers' commitment to training and development and how this is creating impact and achieving success

 

  • Partnership and Collaboration Award

This award is aimed at two or more organisations working together to design and deliver learning. The award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate collaboration in practice and the achievement of success

 

  • Providing Education and Training Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an education and training providers commitment to offering a quality of training and development service and how this is creating impact and achieving success

  • Individual Award 

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an individual's commitment to training and development, where the learning has directly benefited others in the workplace, community or the individual's personal life.

The Deadline

Closing date for entries is Friday 25 April 2008.

The Ceremony

The National Training Award winners will be celebrated at 12 regional ceremonies across the UK, culminating in the UK gala ceremony in London in December where the Winners of the Year will be announced.
