The Food Safety qualification is designed to provide the knowledge and understanding of the basic
principles of food safety, food hazards and good hygiene practice.
The Level 2 award covers the principles of food safety in logistics operations.
The Level 3 award covers the principles of food safety supervision in logistics operations.
The Food Safety qualification demonstrates to an employer that the employee is capable and competent to do their own job and confirms to the employee that they have a range of flexible skills backed up by a nationally regonised vocational qualification.
This qualification is for those whose job involves; supervising or taking responsibility for food handling in logistics operations.
