Logistics is the fifth largest sector in the UK economy and operates on a global scale, underpinning all other sectors of the economy
Whilst we have been asked by employers to take a UK-wide view on delivering some of the objectives, we are aware of the differing environments for skills development in each of the four nations. Accordingly Skills for Logistics employ a network of National and Regional Managers to work with employers, trades unions, training providers and public sector stakeholders to implement a coherent strategy that will build and sustain investment in skills development in the logistics sector across each nation and region of the UK.
